It’s common to want to ignore files when deploying applications to Modulus. The command line tools supports this feature through the use of .modulusignore files.
To use, simply put a .modulusignore file at the root of your project folder with the desired ignore rules.
The format of a .modulusignore file is exactly that of a .gitignore file. Here’s an example that ignores any files named “text-ignore.txt”.
# Ignore file for Example Project test-ignore.txt
When the CLI bundles your application for upload, any files or folders specified in the .modulusignore file will be skipped.
